Day 7 Wednesday
Can't believe it's already a week from when we started off! Very quickly you get int a really laid back style here. Last night the stars were unbelievable. It's really hard recognise any of the constellations as they just blend into the billions of stars that are viewable. The skies are so clear the band of cloud that is the milky way stands out as if painted in the sky.
The weather today is a little disappointing, temperatures still hovering around 30 degrees although there are loads of clouds in the sky. In truth when the sun disappears for a minute or two it is a pleasant relief.
Another traumatic day on the beach and in the lagoon and so now with lunch settled it must be time for a another swim in our shark infested waters! The truth is the big ones can't get through the shallows to our part and so we are only likely to meet up with the occasional small reef shark but they can be a bit of a shock when you come face to face with them.
This afternoon has been disappointing the temperature plummeted Down to about 28 degrees and it became quite sticky. We were forced into dipping into the sea to keep cool. Kathie wants to go for a Chinese massage but every time we go to book the masseur is with someone. After four attempts today I finally have a phone number... Watch this space. I went to the gym but even with the air conditioning on I struggled to keep running for more than 15 minutes. And so to the bar pool to write the daily blog - it's realist tempting when the waiters keep coming up and offering you a beer, at the moment I have settled for orange juice, honestly! Got some good photo's but can't get them from my camera to the iPad to post. So you'll all have to wait until we're back.
